Transforming emotions into art through dynamic brushstrokes.
Transforming emotions into art through dynamic brushstrokes.
As a lucid dreamer, I often find myself navigating a realm where dreams feel more vivid than reality and memories blur with the present. Distinguishing between these states of consciousness can be a challenge, as they seamlessly merge into one another.
My artistic process involves manipulating mediums beyond my complete control. For instance, I pour gesso onto unprimed textiles and flood them with spray paint, ribbing them with a knife as the paint drips down. This technique interacts with natural forces like gravity, mirroring our attempts to impose order on the chaos of existence.
Through these creative methods, I delve into my personal exploration of oneirology, affective science, and cognitive psychology. Each piece reflects the intricate dance between the subconscious and conscious mind, inviting viewers to contemplate the fluid boundaries between reality and imagination.
